Hoodlums Finally Return Looted Items In Adamawa After Fintiri’s Threat

Hours after Governor Ahmadu Fintiri sent a warning message to hoodlums who looted warehouses in Adamawa, some looters have started returning stolen items to escape severe sanctions.

Nigerian Tribune reports that the governor had threatened that he would demolish the houses where the looted items are kept.

The latest report indicated that a number of residents of Yola and Jimeta have started returning the stolen items to their ward heads while some dropped them on the roads for the authorities to pick.

According to the newspaper, some of the items returned include fridges, tractor parts, water pumps, office furniture, medical equipment and bags of fertilizer.
