ONDO STATE GOVERNOR TESTS POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS.

The Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, has announced to the public the result of the COVID-19 test carried on him.

The test result which came out on 30, June showed that the governor is positive to the Coronavirus disease.

The governor who claimed to have felt symptoms of malaria and was treated, but decided to carry out a COVID-19 test which confirmed him positive.

Akeredolu said though he tested positive for the virus but does not feel asymptomatic nor displaying any symptoms, would observe self-isolation, while a supervised home management by the medical team at the Infectious Disease Hospital would be administered to him.

The governor also assured the people that, his present condition will not affect his administrative work as he would tend to them from home.

He advised the citizens to adhere to all precautive measures and stay safe.
