COVID-19: Nigeria Rates Third in Africa with Over 30,000 Cases

Covid-19 cases in Nigeria increases everyday as NCDC releases the details of the virus in the Country. The last updated result from the NCDC makes Nigeria the Third African country to record over 30000 Covid-19 cases.

The new infections were confirmed in 21 states, with Lagos topping the chart again with 150 cases while Rivers occupied the second spot with 49 cases.

With the new infections, Nigeria now has 30,249 confirmed cases, 12,373 discharged and 684 deaths.

Nigeria has now become the third African country to have over 30000 cases After South Africa 224665 and Egypt 78304.
